Luckily, we got matched with Nichelle, and all my worries vanished. She's got tons of experience, is super professional, and really knows her stuff. Plus, her positive and caring vibe made everything so much easier. From the get-go, she made me feel comfortable and was always quick to respond, ready to lend a hand, and kept us feeling organized throughout the college application journey. We had an awesome time working with CollegeWise. Their webinars were super helpful, and I thought they’d be the perfect fit for assisting my daughter with her common app essay. Turns out, we were spot on! Honestly, I never could’ve guided her like CollegeWise did. She felt like she had nothing unique to share. We kicked things off with some brainstorming exercises, which I found to be really effective in getting her to consider various angles to discuss. Then, our counselor helped her narrow down a few topics and collaborated with her to create an outline for the essay. After a few drafts, it was all wrapped up! It wasn’t a nightmare or anything; it was actually pretty enjoyable, and we finished it by early October. Her essay turned out amazing, and she even received personalized acceptance letters highlighting how impressed the admissions counselors were (with details specific to her essay, not just a generic response!). She got into every college she applied to through the common app. We’re still deciding where she’ll go, but thanks to CollegeWise, she’s got all her options available!

I can't express how great our time was with counselor Ian Parker! Our son just got into his top-choice school (Tulane University), and Ian was a major factor in making that happen. Throughout the past year, Ian walked us through every step, from picking the schools that suited him best, to coming up with essay ideas, to ensuring the application process stayed on track and timely. Ian's got a wealth of knowledge and experience—we learned so much from him. He’s clever, humorous, kind, supportive, and super accessible. His understanding and calm nature really helped ease our worries during the college application journey. We would definitely recommend Ian to families everywhere!

I can't imagine a better college counselor for my son than Laura Dicas at Collegewise. She's an attentive listener, super knowledgeable, nurturing, and just a fantastic cheerleader—always positive and full of energy. From a parent's viewpoint, she was professional and instilled confidence, but she also connected easily with my teenager. My son got into his top choice, and I truly believe Laura played a key role in making that happen. She kept him focused and motivated throughout the whole college application journey, something I, as his mom, could never have managed. For the last couple of years, I've teamed up with Nikayla to get my college applications sorted out, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. Nikayla and her crew were just awesome; she seemed genuinely engaged and present all the way through the journey of picking colleges, suggesting which ones to check out and organizing visits, giving practical advice on choosing schools and the best ways to apply (ED, EA, etc.), and, most crucially, offering help with those all-important essays. My son got accepted to his top choice through early decision, so I really can't think of anything more a college advisor could do.

The phrases "incredible experience" and "college application" typically don’t mix... unless you’ve got an awesome counselor guiding you and your child(ren) through this tricky process! Casey’s wisdom, her warmth, and skill helped my three kids find the perfect colleges for them.
